Culture and Moroccan handicraft
The Draa Valley
and it's surrounding regions of Ouarzazate, the High Atlas Mountains
and Dades Valley have quite a few number of interesting sites that
are worth to be seen.
We suggest the following sites in

- Kasbah Taourirt (Ouarzazate)
Kasbah complex of
Ait Benhaddou (UNESCO Heritage)
Dar Glaoui in
Telouèt ( Berber castle of the notorious tribal prince Glaoui)
Rock paintings of
Ait Ouazik
Ksour of
Tamnougalt at Agdz (exceptional protected architecture)
Lehmmarabout, Holy
Sepulchre of Sidi Bou Saleh at the Ksour of Tamnougalt
Zaouia Timsla
(pilgrimage site with interesting mosque)
Village at Amezrou
Zagora (City of dark Haratin)
Village at Tamegroute Zagora (underground village and pilgrimage site with
Koranic library)
Markets
It is a memorable experience. A visit to a Moroccan market in south
Morocco is indeed something not to forget. Especially those near
Agdz with it's fresh produce and a kind of farmer's life going on.
- Monday market in Alnif and Tinghir (Dades Valley)
- Wednesday market in Tazzarine and El Keela M'Gouna (Dades Valley)
- Thursday market in Agdz and Telouèt (high Atlas)
- Sunday market in N'kob, Zagora, Ouarzazate and Erfoud (Tafilalt)
HandiCraft
Moroccan craft is already well known in Europe for decades. Some
techniques are rare or no longer found else where. In every major
town, and so also in Agdz, some interesting crafts enterprises can
visited. Some of the following craft workshops can be visited in
